When selecting the perfect Shutters for your windows or doors it is important to understand the different styles. These are categorised into a few different options – Full Height, Bay, Tier on Tier, Café, and Track Shutters.

Full Height Shutters

Full height Shutters are our most popular and are designed to suit all interiors. The full height option is suitable for almost all sized windows and provides total privacy and a stylish new look with ultimate light control. By opting for a mid-rail or split tilt you can rotate separate sections of the shutter panels, controlling light to suit your needs. This option also means you can keep the lower section closed providing privacy, while the top section allows natural light into your room.

As with all our shutters they are available with a visible tilt rod for a more classic look, or you can have the completely hidden tilt rod, giving your shutters a simple, cleaner look.

Bay Window Shutters

Shutters are the ideal product for your bay windows, they create a bold, beautiful feature and maintain the space in your room compared to traditional curtains. They are low maintenance, easy to clean and provide privacy and light control like no other product.

Best of all, they are perfectly made to measure to match the shape and style of your bay window. Once installed it is as though they are part of the structure of the house.

Within our Bay window shutters you can opt for Full Height, Café or Tier on Tier styles, this can all be discussed when we survey and show samples of each of the Shutter materials.

Tier on Tier Shutters

Tier-on-Tier Shutters cover the same area as our Full Height Shutters when the door panels are hinged closed, however this style has the option to hinge open the top and bottom sections independently. The main aesthetic difference is that you have more frame with Tier-on-Tier shutters when compared to Full Height shutters, this can reduce light into the room when the panels are closed.

The beauty of Tier-on-Tier Shutters is that you’re able to enjoy maximum light flooding in the top section when these are open, whilst maintaining privacy by leaving the lower panels closed. Opening the top panels leaving the bottom closed echoes the look of café style shutters.

Café Shutters

Imagine bringing a touch of continental chic to your home, with sleek shutters that cover only the bottom part of your window.

Café style shutters are a solution that allows light flooding in through the top half of your window, while making a design statement below. Café shutters are a smart way of creating privacy and blocking out unwanted attention from pavement or road facing windows. So you can enjoy privacy whilst allowing sunshine in the room.

Track Shutters

With larger areas such as bi-fold, sliding or french doors we recommend providing additional support for your shutters due to the increase in size of the door panels. This is easily done with a discreet track system which is an intelligent and stylish way to create the look you are after.

There are multiple track systems available such as an ingenious by-pass system that allows each door panel to slide past the other on smooth running tracks, this can be used for a number of areas including wardrobes or room dividers.

The more common track system that we apply is a bi-fold system that operates the same as modern bi-fold doors which allows the doors to simply fold out to either side of the opening, this can also be free floating providing the ultimate flexibility and allow the doors to go either side of the window.

The track that runs along the bottom section of the shutter is discreet and provides a non-trip solution to door areas.

Perfect Fit Shutters

These innovative shutters are proudly manufactured in the UK, offering a unique blend of style, convenience, and durability. Perfect Fit Shutters are fixed directly to your window or door using a genius bracket system that requires no drilling or screwing, this leaves your windowsill completely unobstructed.

Ideal for french doors, utility doors and windows that open into the room, they are the perfect option to achieve the shutter appearance without the need for the complete frame of our other shutter styles.
