Case Study Blindspace

Blindspace

  • We were approached by a customer who had a local interior designer helping them decorate their new extension in a beautiful area in central Bedford.
  • The design of the extension included floor to ceiling windows and doors, the aim was to have blinds to provide shade and privacy when needed.
  • We were contacted early in the build as the customer had seen our Instagram posts showing previous installations of Blindspace. This can be used to completely conceal the blinds when raised, giving the illusion of the blinds lowering out of the ceiling. Blindspace completely hides all brackets, motors, and cabling and has a removeable bottom section allowing access for maintenance in the future.
  • When discussing Blindspace it is important for us to liaise closely with the builder, window/door installer and also the electrician to ensure each part of the project ties in perfectly ready for us to install the blinds when the room is ready.
  • The finished installation using Blindsace is always stunning and seamless. This installation was even trickier as it included a corner section where the sliding doors meet. We used a mitred corner of the Blindspace profile to ensure a clean appearance.
  • From initial enquiry (05/09/2022) to installation (11/05/2023), we were involved in this project for over 9 months.
