Shaped Window

• Builders and planners increasingly specify large glazed areas for residential building projects. These large, shaped window areas are a stunning feature but are also tricky to find the correct window coverings.
• All our blinds are completely bespoke which means we have a solution for all size and shaped windows and doors.
• This customer visited our showroom looking for options for their custom-built home. Part of the build is a stunning shaped window in the master bedroom. This window is stunning, however there are obvious privacy and light control concerns.
• They had been in to a couple of other blind companies, all of which said there is not a solution that can work, and it cannot be done! Our response was “we have a solution, and it will be incredible!”
• The aim was to install as few blinds as possible minimising the gaps between the blinds and also reducing the number of motors needed.
• As the customer had drawings from the glazing company we were able to provide accurate budget costs from the very first meeting. This meant that from then on the customer was informed of the costs involved and we could then just focus on the design and function of the blinds.
• Throughout the process we visited site to discuss the specifics with the builder and electrician. All of these conversations were constructive with the aim of having the blinds as unobtrusive as possible when open but provide effective room darkening when closed.
• When the blinds were installed the customer was amazed at the clean lines, smooth operation and how discreet the blinds are!  
• From initial enquiry (April 2023) to installation (November 2023), we were involved with this window area for 7-8 months. We also helped the customer with blinds and curtains for most of the other windows in the home.
